TEA TREE TO THE RESCUE
Following numerous field tests, Earthoil Extracts Limited and the Kenya Organic Agriculture
Network (KOAN) discovered that the drier areas of the Mt. Kenya region are well suited for the
commercial production of Tea Tree. Tea Tree is one of the high value essential oil plants that
can fetch a premium especially when grown organically and under fair trade conditions.
